“Postcards from Heaven”

I just received word today that there are still some tickets available for Sunday’s event. Maureen Hancock’s, “Postcards From Heaven”  is always sold out months in advance. This show is uniquely different where all of the proceeds will benefit the Jett Foundation. This is a great opportunity  to
raise money for a good cause while enjoying the phenomenal Postcards From Heaven Show.
Please support my friend Christine McSherry and her amazing son Jett.
Thank you Maureen for all you do!!!

Summer Breeze

Many people would agree that there is no place like Nantucket. Eighty plus miles of stunningly beautiful beaches, my love affair with this Island continues…

This summer, I will be caputuring children and families at these sea worthy sites. The Boat Basin, Jetties Beach, Brant Point, various locations in Sconset and the Sankaty Lighthouse, which is one of my favorite locations.

If you are in Nantucket on vacation or want to plan a day trip my summer dates are as follows August 24th-August 31st. Call to reserve your session today (781) 749-8205 and let the beautiful memories of Nantucket begin.

Portrait Display Submission!

It’s always so rewarding when my client’s tell me how much they are enjoying their portraits or send me a photograph of how my prints are displayed in their home.

Just recently,  Nicole Benjamin sent me these photographs of  a wonderful dollhouse that she made for her girls. Nicole did such a great job turning the dollhouse into a replica of their home. Featured is a Kerry Brett Hallway! I thought this was fabulous! I was really inspired by her creativity and thought this was so cute! I started thinking…it could be so fun if my friends and clients could submit examples of how they chose to display my photography in their home. As the years go by and our children grow, our portraits take on a whole new meaning. I also included a photograph of my front hallway, I smile as I head downstairs every morning as I remember Morgan as a baby, I will be photographing her again as she turns 9 in a few months. Everyone tells you it goes by so fast – but it’s so true!

I would love for you to share how my art is featured in your home. Just Tag Kerry Brett Lifestyle Portraits on Facebook, or email kerrybrett101@aol.com. I will then submit the names into a drawing.  The winner will receive a complimentary  beach session! I hope to hear from you!

Inspired by Elizabeth Berry Interiors

Here are some room designs and decorating ideas by Liz Berry. I was fortunate to have Liz design my studio almost nine years ago. The fabric that she pulled for me is currently being featured in Kate Spade’s spring line. Liz was “ahead of the curve” and continues to set trends. After all these years I still love it! Liz and I have some other design projects we’re working on in my home (I have been painting since January)… stay tuned – more images to come . One New Year’s resolution conquered, I finally got  over my fear of color.  xoxo Kerry
